Aged & Disability Cleaning(Community Services & Development) Casual/Vacation $30 – $34.99 per hour

Qualifications & experience

  • Demonstrated experience as a Cleaner for diverse needs.
  • Australian drivers licence (minimum P2)
  • Recent Police Clearance
  • First Aid Certificate
  • CPR
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module
  • Working With Children Check
  • Up to date with your COVID19 vaccinations
  • Show a strong willingness to learn new skills
  • Flexibility around client commitments
  • Able to navigate and adapt in different/challenging situations
  • Ability to prioritise tasks to best meet client needs
  • Time management skills and ability to plan ahead

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Make a difference through providing compassionate care, building trust and taking the lead to support individuals to live in residential home
  • Enhance the lives of our participants by supporting them to live safely and with dignity at home
  • Valued members of our team are responsible for maintaining the highest possible standards of cleanliness and hygiene across our range of equipment.
  • There are various group based recreational activities both at the center and in the community which you will be a part of.
  • This role is fast-faced and requires someone that can work with multiple clients and has a high level of initiative.
  • Work with people to access services and activities in the community.
  • Work as part of a multicultural and diverse team to ensure continuity and consistency of support to participants
  • Adhere to administrative procedures including data collection and maintenance of participant records.
  • A reliable, punctual and mature attitude with demonstrated ability to work with limited direct supervision.
  • An understanding of the importance of personal and professional boundaries, privacy and confidentiality, ethical behaviour, policies and procedures.
